Technology Start Up

I have always been deeply fascinated by technology and its potential to increase efficiency and productivity. Throughout my time at JPMorgan, I have consistently sought technological solutions to improve both my work environment as well as my personal life.

My first technical project was during my final year at university. It involved introducing computer models to better understand the electrical properties of nerves. In the early 1990s, computers were still in their infancy, and few medical scientists were using them. My project aimed to develop differential equations capable of simulating a nerve pulse and predicting how various drugs, known for their effects on ion-gates, would impact the nerve. Essentially, it was an early demonstration of computer modeling to forecast biological outcomes, which is common now. In my case, the objective was to determine the optimal dosage and frequency of a specific drug to restore proper nerve function, such as in the case of a diseased heart cell. Although computationally trivial by today's standards, the concept was groundbreaking at the time and fascinating for me.

Fast forward to the COVID-19 lockdown, I used the opportunity to deepen my technical skills. I began daily one-on-one coding lessons and have continued this intensive learning journey ever since. Since leaving JPMorgan, coding has become my primary focus — I now spend 4–5 hours a day working with my instructor to build advanced technical capabilities.

I’ve also founded my own IT company, supported by a small team of talented, experienced developers. We primarily work in PHP, JavaScript, and Symfony, and currently have around a dozen active projects in the pipeline. These range from:

  • o Automating legal workflows for immigration services
  • o A booking automation bot to secure hard-to-get appointment slots
  • o A ride-hailing platform competing with Uber
  • o A payroll and work permit automation solution for the Swiss market
  • o A LinkedIn connection management tool designed to support recruiters in growing and engaging their networks

If you'd like to learn more or explore opportunities to collaborate, feel free to get in touch — I’d be happy to share more.
