Below are some helpful notes for your stay.

Location & Address

MD21, Dionysus Green, Aphrodite Hills, Kouklia, Cyprus

Aphrodite Hills is a well-established golf resort on the south coast (approx. 20 years old). Website: https://www.aphroditehills.com/
20 minutes east of Paphos, 40 minutes west of Limassol (on the B6 coastal road)
Near the famous Aphrodite Rock landmark
The resort includes tennis courts, golf course, gym/spa, and a small village (cafés, supermarket, pub, restaurants, car & bike hire)
Kouklia village (5–7 min drive / 15 min cycle) has excellent local taverns
Dionysus is centrally located, next to the tennis courts

Getting Here

Paphos Airport (PFO): 15–20 minutes. Meet outside the main entrance, by the zebra crossing near Costa Coffee. Message me when you have your bags, I will be waiting nearby (can’t stop at drop-off for long).
Larnaca Airport (LCA): 75–80 minutes. Meet outside on the ground (not +1) level and message me when ready.

Food & Daily Routine

Breakfast: typically on the balcony (great views) or at the village café
Lunch/Dinner: a mix of home, clubhouse, and local taverns. The golf clubhouse is particularly good for lunch

What to Bring (and Not Bring)

Cyprus is very well supplied—anything you forget can be easily bought.

Do NOT bring:

Things to Do

On-site: tennis, golf (18-hole + range), gym/spa
Beach: at the resort entrance or nearby areas (Pissouri is particularly nice). Sea is warm July–November; cooler in winter
Restaurants: excellent local taverns (fresh, simple, high quality rather than “fine dining”)

Clothing

Summer: very light: shorts and t-shirts day and night
Nov–Mar: t-shirt/shorts in daytime, light jumper in evenings. Winter additions: 1 jumper, 1 long-sleeve shirt/polo, 1 pair of jeans/trousers
- No need for formal wear at any venue. Laundry facilities available, so you can pack light.

Tipping is modest (2-3%) and not expected
Owner discount on resort: Quote 25065 in Aphrodite Hills village shops (≈10% off)
Tennis club happy hour: Friday 6-7pm

Cycling: 3 bikes available (Cannondale road bike, mountain bike, hybrid). Local hire shop offers high-quality road bikes, MTBs, and e-bikes
Tennis: Large supply of balls and multiple rackets available. 5 hard courts + 4 clay courts. Very easy to book; rarely busy
Golf: Club hire available at the course
Gym: Day pass ~€7
Swimming: Pools available (some seasonal). Sea swimming often preferable in winter. Rocky beaches—water shoes useful (I have a spare pair)
